Catrina Herman '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Catrina Herman and I am currently a Junior (YOG 2023) at Cohasset High School in Cohasset, Massachusetts. I am a starting center defender for South Shore Select’s 2005 GA team and I wear jersey number 4.  I am also a starting attacking midfielder for my high school's varsity soccer team and wear jersey number 15. I am a high honors student that values academics in addition to athletics. 

I began playing soccer when I was 6 years old and I have been playing competitive club soccer for the past 8 years. I really enjoy the competitive aspects of the game along with being a part of a team. Over the years, my teammates have become some of my best friends. In 2018 and 2019, I was invited to the US Soccer Youth National Team Identification Center in Massachusetts. I played my first year of high school soccer in 2020 and was named MVP of the league.

I am currently enrolled in 3 AP classes along with 2 accelerated classes. I'm excited about attending a college that has a combination of rigorous academics as well as a competitive women's soccer program.
