Ryan Belina '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard worker in school and on the field.  In my early years of school some subjects were difficult for me.  When I moved up to high school I improved my study habits and that contributed to my success academically. I complete all of my assignments on time and try to help others in the classroom. I focus, work hard, and get all of my work done.  In five years at Smith Academy I have only missed a full day of school once.

I think that I would be a good candidate for any team because I am a very coachable player who does whatever it takes to improve his overall game.  My determination helped me win the starting varsity goalkeeper spot in soccer as an eighth grader, earn playing time on the varsity baseball team the same year, and earn minutes on the varsity basketball team my freshman year.  Even though most of my baseball experience is at first base, I will be catching for my high school team my junior and senior year.  I have proven to be very reliable, and have never missed a high school game.  

I have a love for sports, and I‘m passionate about baseball history in particular.  I’m hoping to find a career in a related field.  I am excited to carry all of these qualities on to college.
