Hello, as you know my name is Gus Merhige. It has been my dream to play baseball ever since I first played T-ball. I believe that I can accomplish anything through hard work, discipline, and perseverance. This concept not only applies to my athletic life but academically as well. I believe in always putting the team first, in any aspect of life, whether it means making a sacrifice play on the diamond or helping a classmate study, I always make an effort to help the team because, in the end, it will move the team toward the end goal, whether that means winning, graduating, or anything else.
