David Vinsky '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 15 year old multi sport athlete, but baseball has always been a passion for me. As a freshman, I made the varsity baseball team and was the starting 1st baseman. I was the only underclassman to be selected All District. Only freshman selected All Observer Team. Selected to the All Association Team as a freshman as as well. I am also the starting left fielder/1st baseman on my travel baseball teams. I take pride in being a power hitter and having the highest batting average, most runs scored, most RBI, and hits. I have tried to better myself with hard work and dedication without losing the fun side of sports. I consider myself to be very athletic and further challenge myself by playing multiple sports and up in age groups. I am currently working with a former collegiate coach/player to further develop my skill set so I will be ready to compete at the next level.

I am the youngest in a family of five. My parents, twin sisters, and extended family have always played a major role in providing me with support and encouraging me to pursue my dreams of playing collegiate baseball.

I was the starting quarterback/safety/punter/kicker on my high school football team. I have played power forward in basketball and ran track, as well, specializing in the 70/100/4x100 yard races.
