Baseball was my first passion. As a toddler, I would walk around the house swinging whatever I had in my hand, whether it was an empty water bottle or a spatula, like it was a baseball bat. I can't imagine my life without baseball. Through over 10 years of sports, I have learned that I am a fierce competitor and a leader. I want to dominate on the field, and grind on and off the field to be an example for my teammates to follow both academically and athletically.
As I look at different schools, I look for a baseball program that will allow me to develop as a player, a leader, and a competitor, and an engineering program that will allow me to grow as a scholar. I believe that no matter which school I attend, I have the drive, leadership, and character to make a positive contribution to the team, as well as cut-throat competition to help my team win.
