Personal Statement
I understand there is more to life than playing baseball, but I truly believe baseball is an important part of teaching valuable life skills. Baseball teaches you how to deal with failure and success while showing that hard work does pay off. I feel that I am not only coachable, but I have the ability to learn and understand other perspectives of the game. Even though I wasn’t directly involved in my high school winning a state championship, to see what the team accomplished emphasizes my belief that hard work pays off and there is always room for personal improvement that will lead to team success.
In addition to wanting to be a college athlete, I also want to earn my degree in business or law.
