Isaac Mejia-Troop '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isaac Mejia-Troop, I am a freshman at St. John Vianney high school.  I play on their mid state varsity hockey team.  I also play Club hockey for U16 AAA Blues  and have been playing hockey since I was 6 Years old.  I love hockey and have a great aspiration to further my hockey abilities and career.   Last season my high school hockey team won the State Championship for Mid States.   I was apart of that  great experience and now know what it takes to win and become a champion and intend to play like one.

I was also named goaltender of the month for the NAPHL u15 league and was placed number 1 for u15 goaltender during that year.   My team and I also won the NAPHL u15 Championship,  I was able to get a shutout  during the Championship game.

My goal is to play for a College/University that I feel welcomed at.  I would expect that institution to develop on my skills and put me in a position to be the best hockey player I can be.  My academic Goals are to be an outstanding student and have a  minimum of a 3.5 GPA. I am different from other recruiters because I will put in all my effort and work harder than no other before me.  I cannot name many other goaltenders better than me or don’t like to be the back up of the team.  If they are better than me than I will make a continuous effort to prove my worth.  I can be an  all around better goaltender than the one in front of me which means on ice, off ice, and in the classroom.
