Jacob K. Conklin '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a`19 year old Native American  attending Lassen Community College in Susanville, California as a Sophomore. http://www.lassencollege.edu/athletics/mens/mens-baseball/index  Playing for the Cougars this past season as a LHP definitely has increased my desire to play at the next level. I am majoring in History and plan on graduating in the Spring from this Junior College and will continue and further my education at a University.  If you were to meet me by the end of our conversation you would be my friend. I love to laugh but also get to know you as a person.  In high school,  I was a three sport athlete, sang in our concert choir as a Bass singer and obtained my order of the Arrow achievement in Boy Scouts.  I have learned in the past year that  baseball is my passion and whether I am playing or waiting in the bull pen to pitch , I love it.  

My goal is to be a good father, husband, and successful person. I plan to do so by obtaining my education,   My college of choice is one that fits me and my family. Whatever it is near or far I am willing to work hard, listen and learn. I will play the game the best as I know how. I do know how to win, but also know how baseball is built on 90% failure and 10% success.
