Jesse Allen is a Catching prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame, well-proportioned, athletic build with strength present. Behind the dish, an easy sit, with quick feet, who presents a low target and tracks ball to mitt. Works around the baseball and gains ground towards second base with good direction. Creates good blocking angles and ability to deaden ball in front of him. Quiet actions, with ability to beat ball to spot, and works thumb under. Short arm action into a high 3/4 release point, with accurate online throws with arm velocity of 72MPH (July 2021) and best pop time of 2.11 seconds.

A right-handed hitter, hits from an athletic stance. Good rhythm to swing, with a short stride and small hand load. Flat barrel path through the zone and gets extension through contact. Hits lines drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 74 MPH (July 2021) during BP.
