Nick Augusta '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been in love with the game of baseball ever since I could hold a bat in my hands. I was around 7 years old when I played on my first travel team which was mostly 9 year olds and I have played ever since. I have always wanted to play baseball in college and possibly professionally. I think what makes me a good candidate for college baseball teams is that I have great fielding, range and a good arm at 3rd base and I can also bring that to 1st base as well. I can also pitch if a team needed me too, I have pretty good swing and miss stuff and currently working on better location on fastballs. At the plate I have good power and contact but I am also good at driving in runs whether it is a sacrifice fly or a RBI groundout.  I hope that I can bring those attributes to a college team and ultimately help the team compete and win a National Championship. I think what makes me different from other players is that I am a team player and a leader that has a positive attitude on and off the field, who also has a fun side to him too. Academically I am an A/B student who wants to get a good job after college.
