My name is Angelo Bellizzi and I am a 17 year-old student-athlete from Oakland New Jersey in the class of 2026. I am a Right-Handed Pitcher and currently 6'0" 210 pounds. I have been in love with the game of baseball since I was in the second grade. My dad would pitch to me and catch with me and it was those moments that I knew baseball would drive my future and so it has. Baseball has given me the opportunity to learn life lessons that extend far past the mound. The life lesson of what it means to be an effective teammate, learning to be responsible for my actions on and off the field, and learning how to fail which in my opinion has given me my greatest teachable moments. My dad proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, I was raised with the columns of Integrity, Leadership, Good Character, and Commitment. These characteristics have molded me to be the young man I am today which I know will serve me well as a college student-athlete. I am an A student and on the honor roll, I will continue to take my academic work very seriously as I understand the value and importance of education. I am a leader on and off the field; I am dedicated to my craft and have a desire to compete at the highest level. I respectfully thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
