Tyler Pirylis '13 Recruiting Profile

I have always had a true love for the sport of baseball, going back to when I was a child. No matter what obsticles are in my path, i fight my through to victory. Whenever I slip up in a section of my game, i work harder than anyone else in order to fix my flaws. For instance, last year in the early season after a few games i had the worst average for all starters. After practice the next day, I stayed at school the next two hours at a baseball tee working on my swing until i felt absolutely happy with my performance. At the end of the season, i had the best average on the entire team, and ended the season with a fifteen game hitting streak. I am a big part of my team when it comes to making the big play, saving someone else, and keeping the teams morale as high as possible. I am very serious when it comes to baseball, but i also like to have fun with my friends at the same time since baseball should always be fun. When i put my mind to something, i know i will accomplish my goal. I wish to go to school in the lower east coast due to good weather conditions all year, perfect for baseball. That way, I have no offseson to lose skills. Financial needs may apply for me to go to college since my sister is in college right now and will be for my first year of college. I do want to play D1 baseball and hopefully get a scholarship so i may prove to everyone that said i couldn't that that i could. I dream of greatness and i dont want to stop until my dream becomes a reality. Any school for me would be fine, as long as i can still recieve an education, especially in math and journalism. I know wherever i go for baseball, that we will be the best team around and that we will all be determined for greatness.
