I believe I am a terrific candidate for any collegiate baseball program because of my hard work and determination on the field, and off the field in the classroom. I recognize the importance of academics in my life and the benefits that a strong academic performance can provide. My goal is to use my athletic and academic skills to help me obtain the best possible college experience.    

I have played organized, competitive sports since the age of 7, but nothing has compared to my passion for baseball.  I can be used as a utility player to support a variety of needs on a team’s roster.  I have played shortstop and third base the past 4 years on my travel team, over the past 2 years I have developed myself as a quick outfielder with a strong arm, and I am able to pitch in relief.

I believe what makes me different from other recruits in my class is that my academic abilities combined with my athletic abilities make for a strong overall player and person.  I have great respect for the game of baseball, the coaches I play for and my teammates with whom I compete. My goal is to graduate with a degree in the fields of education, history and religion.
