Personal Statement
I started playing baseball when I was four years old. When I turned seven, my Dad formed an area travel team that I remained with for six years. I learned more than the fundamentals of the game. I learned how to be an effective teammate, and how to use my versatility on the field to assist my team where I was needed. I gained the ability to play all nine positions on the field. Still today, as I continue to play high school and travel baseball, I pride myself on being an utility player.
I attend and play baseball for a private college preparatory high school where I carry a 3.9 GPA. My course load includes several honors classes as well as a responsibility to preform community service.
It is my goal to attend a university that will challenge me academically and allow me to continue playing high level baseball. I look forward to the recruiting process and to speaking personally to coaches about what I have to offer their athletic programs.
