Many incoming freshman collegiate athletes will face the challenge of new environments, new lifestyle, and a new team. However, to me, these challenges are nothing new.

I believe one of my best characteristics is my ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly. I have moved around a lot in my life, including two times in the last four years. Each of my last 4 years of school have been in a different environment (homeschool in grade 8, covid year in grade 9, first normal year in high school in grade 10, and moving to Westfield NJ for grade 11). Through all the change and adversity over those last four years, I have been able to learn and thrive both athletically and academically. I have developed many qualities that I believe will be beneficial on and off the field including, but not limited to: the ability to form strong new relationships, the ability to adapt to new environments and situations, and the drive to keep pushing myself out of my comfort zone to make myself the best student and teammate I can be.

Even with the many changes in my life, my goal in baseball has been and always will be the same: To do whatever I can to help my team win.

I will be the best version of myself for my team, my school, my family, and everyone around me.
