Evan Kurtz '23 Recruiting Profile

Here is a little about me. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old and have loved the game since then. I have fast hands, a good field sense and I can make the small adjustments in order to succeed. Under pressure I always stay calm and focused and always push myself and the people around me to be the best at everything that I/they do. 

Off the field I spend my time getting better at everything I can.  Everyday I work on bettering my reaction times, my balance , my explosiveness, and my speed, all while getting stronger which is a main focus of mine. In school I take the hardest classes  that I can take and do well in them. When I meet conflict I study it and work at the issue persistently until it is resolved. That is what makes me a strong recruit.

My aspirations for college and for the future are simple. I want to to compete and learn at the highest level and would do anything to reach that goal. I want to go to a college with an exceptional baseball team that can also give me a good education.
