Jack McDonald '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5-10, 165 pound middle infielder from Islip, New York. I have been a 3 year Varsity starter and a Junior and Senior Captain at Islip High school and have received academic scholar athlete for my Sophomore and Junior seasons in both football and baseball. I am looking for a school that allows me to grow not only on the field but also, in everyday life off the field. My desired major is scientific engineering and finding a school that will help me explore my aspirations and ideas in the field of scientific engineering is very important to me. When it comes to the size and location of the school I am very open minded and would like to keep my options open. However, due to the financial factors with college, finding a school that can give me financial assistance like scholarships is very important to me as well, since there is a lot of expenses related to going away to college. Generally, I'm looking for school on the east coast that allows me to receive a very good education and compete for a team at a high athletic level     (d1,d2, high d3).
