My name is Jesse miles and I am a Senior at Felicity Franklin High School. I am a starter for varsity since my sophomore year when we got a baseball team at Felicity. I was one of the players that strived and pushed for my high school to bring baseball back and finally my sophomore year we got a team. I have been a team captain every year. I ended my sophomore year the varsity MVP. My junior was cut short when I took a line drive to the face while I was pitching. I broke my skull in 3 places. I was batting .409 when I was injured. Over the summer I played club ball for The Cincinnati Hawks 17u team SWOL. Now my senior year I have been the only leader on my team. I only have one coach so he asks for my help to train and work with the new kids. I have always been a leader in anything I have done. I have a 3.93 GPA and Perfect attendance for the past 2 years of high school. Academics has always been my main concern. Now my love for baseball is everything. I work everyday to better my game. The thing that is different about me from other players is my coach-ability. This is only my 5th year playing baseball and 3 of those years i started Varsity. The transition to college will be a tough one, but it is a challenge I am looking forward to. My entire life I have been a starter and one of the best on my team, but college will be different and I will never accept myself being anything less then the best, and I will work everyday to earn that.
