I have played baseball since I was four years old. The first time I set foot on the field I knew that I would love baseball for the rest of my life. Baseball does more than just bring me joy, it also teaches me life lessons. This great sport has taught me to fight through adversity while playing on the field and in life. I have learned to not sweat the small things as a result of baseball. In life and in baseball you have to learn from the past, but live in the present.
Although, I love baseball, academics come first. As a student in advanced placement and honor classes my academic goals are just as high as my goals on the field. I have a 3.98 GPA, along with a 24 on my act, but I plan to improve this score. I take my beliefs and goals very seriously, and this characteristic has helped me become who I am today. I am the hardest worker on the field and in the classroom. I will do anything for my team to win. I would like to compete at the highest level there is, and I will do anything and everything to achieve this goal.
