Personal Statement:
Hard work and dedication define how I handle everything thrown in my path. I have always taken pride in my school work as much as I have baseball. Maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA has always been very important to me. I do whatever is necessary for me to reach my goals as a student athlete. I strive to set a positive example for my teammates and peers.
Sports have always been an important part of my life. I loved playing anything that was competitive. I played soccer, football, basketball and baseball. I have always loved playing baseball the most but it wasn’t until my freshmen year of high school that I decided to focus on baseball only. I started playing baseball at the age of 6 and mostly played short stop and pitcher. I started playing left field when I was 14 and I was a utility player and pitcher my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I played short stop my junior year until covid-19 struck and our season was prematurely finished.
I love playing baseball and have more fun doing it than anything else. My teammates say I play the game hard. I want to be remembered as the guy who was a leader and played the hardest and gave it his all on the field and when the opportunity come up he could execute. Given the opportunity to continue to play baseball at the next level, whatever that may be would truly be an amazing experience.
