Brayden McMurtrey '22 Recruiting Profile

I am highly motivated to play baseball past the high school level. I have played baseball since I was 3 years old and love every aspect of the game. I do well in all of my classes, trying my best and seeking out extra help. I love that baseball is the ultimate team sport, that teammates are encouraged to play for the good of the team despite their "normal" positions or previous teams, that sacrifices are encouraged, and that baseball is a sport that requires mental toughness. I have spent the last 2 and 1/2 under coaches that require and preach mental toughness for the good of the team as a whole. I am always early, stay late, and show up to "optional" times even if it meant painting or bettering the facilities and not working only on my skills.
