My name is Jeffery Earl Blackburn Jr. I will be a Senior this coming school year 2018-19. I attend U S Grant High School in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.
My goals and aspirations are to try my hardest to become successful in several ways. First of all, I want to be successful in attending college and playing baseball. I have always loved sports, preferably baseball because I am good with my arm and it's my passion. Coaches on my Tball team at OCCC noticed right away I could throw hard and far and brought that to my parents attention.
I plan on getting all the experience I can get to be fully prepared for this future career. Another important goal for myself is to achieve in going to college. Live a good life. Make my Family proud. Family is very important to me because I know just how much they impact my life. My number one fans are my family members. My parents want nothing but the best in life for me and my sister.
I played all of middle school baseball at Roosevelt Middle School. Then continued playing at Grant, currently too. Coach Leake in middle school noticed my arm and I was the top pitcher for our school. He put in a word to Coach Cornish at Grant and Cornish liked what he saw and I became the first 9th grade pitcher ever to pitch Varsity games.
I attend every practice, every game. I'm a team player. I'm passionate about my future. I have goals and hope I can fulfill my dreams of being in college playing baseball and majoring in Sports.
