Dear Coach

I would be a great candidate for team as I am a great leader, student, and ballplayer.  Ways that I am a leader on my team and in my community include being the captain of the varsity team as a Sophmore, elected Junior Class President, and a member of the National Honors Society.  In the summer, I work at a summer camp for children with disabilities as a counselor.  I am just as dedicated in the classroom, as I have attained a 4.12 GPA, a 1390 SAT (with plans to retest), and a member of the robotics, cyberpatriot, and Bots IQ team.  Most importantly, I am a great ballplayer, as I have been starting at second base since my freshman year for a team who made our district championship my freshman year, and made playoffs every year of my career.  I bat second and play second for the varsity raiders, and hit the ball for contact.
