Joey BarterMy goal has always been to play 4 years of college baseball. It was in my best interest to begin my collegiate baseball career at the Community College of Rhode Island. I felt is was a great place for me to get acclimated to a college environment and learn how to handle a full load of classes and a full schedule of baseball. I enjoyed my first year at CCRI and I'm looking forward to the upcoming school year and baseball season.
I am a versatile ball player as I play first base and third base and can also pitch when called upon. I work hard and keep myself in pretty good shape. I spend time in the gym and at a local indoor baseball facility, keeping myself in good physical shape and in baseball condition. I will be continuing my academic and baseball career at a four year college upon graduating from CCRI in the Spring of 2019.
I'd be an asset to any ball club in my junior and senior collegiate years because I work hard, I'm very coachable, I respect the game and my teammates. I come from a great home and have been taught that good character and integrity go a long way. I work hard in the classroom and on the field and will continue to do so at the next college or university I attend.
