My name is Yatharth Kaushik and I am currently a student of the 2022 class at Saint Joesph high school in Metuchen, NJ. I am a 6 ft 6, 220-pound sophomore who played both first base and pitcher for my Tri-State Arsenal and my High school.
Baseball isn't just a sport it just means a lot more to me it is something I live. They are just so many things that are tied to this sport and me. There have been many changes everywhere but this sport has just been there for me since day one.
I have always been a kind of an outlier and this sport just brings me together and I can just have fun and compete for the win. My goals have always been straight that I would love to play college baseball and be one of the best and then play in the MLB. I have also from day never been an outspoken person, I have always been a guy who puts his work in day in and day out and will go to any extent to win. In the dugout/locker room, I am always bringing my teammates up and just focus on the game. I can tell you right now there is nobody that works harder then there will be many recruits but none that will outwork them in the classroom and on the field like me. In the classroom, I haven't always been the brightest but then I always have a good GPA such as I finished with a 3.67.
In the end, I can tell you, coaches, on thing I will always outwork the player next to me and always bring the mentality of being the first one in and the last one out.
