Baseball means the world to me. When I step onto the field something different just hits my soul. When I think about baseball I think about the passion, the friendships had and to be made, the skills, along with the smells and sounds of the game. Baseball has been my favorite sport since I was about 8 years old and nothing really compares to it. As for reasons I am different from a lot of other players. I truly never quit. I am always striving to improve myself and be a better asset to whatever team I am playing for. Whether that be as a starting catcher or getting the next pitcher ready by catching bullpen. I love being part of something bigger than myself. But all that said I've done a lot of things in baseball like home runs, game winning hits, and throwing people out at second. But I feel my greatest accomplishment in baseball is when I won the “Ben Mitchell Award”, which is an award we have at CCS for attitude, effort and service. This award is voted on by my fellow teammates. I always have had a dream to play at a collegiate level and possibly have a shot at the MLB.
