Parker Cochran '15 Recruiting Profile

I have had a goal  of playing college baseball since I was in 8th grade. I want to play ball at a high level and am willing to work hard to get there. I have been fortunate enough to play under two great coaches. Tommy Pharr  is my high school coach and former University of Tennessee coach Todd Raleigh has been my summer ball coach. I have learned many things from these men. The main thing being the importance of a strong work ethic. I am not afraid of hard work.  The tougher the challenge the harder I work.

I  am on course to graduate with honors and have worked extremely hard to keep my grades up while playing a demanding sport.  I also work in the summer helping to coach young kids at soccer and basketball camps.  In the fall and winter I referee flag football and upward basketball at a local church.

I am a team player and will do whatever it takes to win.  I am very coachable and always willing to go the next step.
