Wesley Pinner '27 Recruiting Profile

I was 4 years old when I asked my dad if he would teach me how to play baseball.  I have been in love with this game ever since.  I have played competitive ball at the AAA/Major level since I was 6 years old.  I am a leader and a team player.  I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working player on the field.  I made the High School varsity and JV team as an 8^th grader.  I started and played all JV games and played in all but 3 varsity games.  I also play football for my school where I play QB and outside linebacker.  My dad has always told me “if you are going to do something, do it with all your might or not at all.”  I live by this on the field as well as in the classroom. 

I have made the headmaster list/honor roll every year and take all honors classes with a 3.99 GPA and a member of the Beta Club.  I love to compete but do not like losing.  I continue daily to improve my skill set, both mentally and physically, knowing that there is always someone out there working harder.  I am looking for a program that will challenge me as much academically as it will physically.  I feel confident with my abilities and mental awareness that I would be a great asset to any program on or off the field to make an immediate impact to a program at any level.
