JD Garrett '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been working toward college baseball since I was 6 years old. I began playing travel ball at 8. I started at McGavock HS (Nashville 3 AAA) as a freshman and hit .438 (3rd in conference). I played 2nd and 3rd plus pitched about 15 innings in relief. This year, I will play 2nd and SS plus I will be team's #2 starter. I do not see myself as a pitcher in college but must help my team where they need me most. I was named to Middle Tennessee 17U American Legion 2018 all-conf team this past summer at 2B. 

I workout 3 to 4 days per week and hit at least once 52 weeks per year. 

I have a photography business and DJ parties to earn money. My dream is to prepare myself in college with business education to become an entrepreneur.

I am a member of City Road Methodist Church.
