Growing up in foster care in Tennessee and New York taught me that life is full of challenges. I had to work for everything, even love, which made me very determined. I discovered my love for baseball when I was 11 and quickly learned about leadership and teamwork through travel ball. A key influence in my journey was the Athletic Director at CCS, whose constant support helped me see the value of hard work on and off the field leading me to strive to be a better person.
Looking ahead, I plan to work hard in both academics and baseball. I’m focused on keeping my GPA high and aim to attend a college that values both strong academics and a competitive baseball program. Every challenge on the field and in the classroom has taught me the value of persistence. When obstacles arise, I learn from the experience and push myself to be better. These lessons have built my determination and helped me grow as a teammate and as a student, and I'm ready to take that drive with me into college and beyond.
