Hi there, I am Zachary Basham. I am from a small town in middle Tennessee. I have played baseball all of my life, I started travel ball at the age of 9 with the Columbia Rookies and I have continued to play travel ball every year. This year I will be playing with the Middle Tennessee Wolves based out of Lebanon, Tn. I have not played with this team as of yet but I am looking forward to a winning season.
I would say my best quality is that things don’t rattle me when I am playing my game, I don’t give up! I always do my best to turn the bad shots into great plays. I have quick hands, good glove and fast feet. Although I don’t do it very often, I can switch hit. I find that it helps center my focus. It usually confuses the pitcher when he thinks he knows me. I am open minded when it comes to coaching, any suggestion to help me with my game, I am more than willing to try it.
I do pitch and I have great accuracy and I have a 2 seam and 4 seam fastball, a knuckle curve and I am working hard on a sinker right now and I have a breaking ball and a change up with good movement. I would love to demonstrate for you. I am not a talkative person or someone with a loud personality, I had rather show you what I can do than to tell you. But here again I am a short stop with the power and accuracy to kill them first base hitters. If you’re looking for a confident guy that can and will play anywhere, well here I am. Thanks for letting me tell you a bit about me.
