When I'm on the mound, it feels like I'm in control of the whole game. This feeling is what keeps me working. I'm focused on the target and I shut out everything around me. I'm confident that my preparation and practice allows me to execute my pitches. This confidence in my success on the mound translates to the classroom because I know the hard work will be rewarded. I want to put in the work it takes to pitch at the collegiate level. I also want to play at a higher level so that I can show my family that all the work I put in was worth their support.
My coaches would describe me as a hardworking athlete who is a leader on and off the field. My parents would describe me as tenacious, focused, and competitive in everything I do.
My goal is to attend a Division 1 school to pitch and do well enough to get drafted by an MLB team.
