Personal Statement

Making varsity as a sophomore was a big accomplishment in my high school athletic career.   But something that had even more of an impact on me was the hurricane that hit our community my freshman year.  We all came together as a team and went out to help families gather their belongings out of their flooded houses and tear out damaged sheetrock / flooring to give them a good start on repairing their homes.  That experience helped me grow as a person and helped me become a leader.

I’m looking forward to many more years of baseball.   I love the competitiveness, energy and camaraderie of playing baseball.   I think I am well suited to pitching because I am a very focused person but don’t get rattled.   I am excited to have baseball be part of my college experience.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
