Personal Statement
My freshman year I played on our JV baseball team and received Most Valuable Player at the end of our season. I was proud of my achievement and could not wait for my sophomore season because I hoped to make Varsity and continue to excel. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had other plans for all of us and we did not end up having a season at all last year. I am thankful to my parents for making the ultimate sacrifice and moving our entire family to Texas a few months ago so that I can continue to play baseball. California did not have plans to open schools and sports was not looking promising either. I now attend Georgetown High School in Texas and I am ready for my junior year and I am working hard to earn a starting spot on Varsity.
Baseball is not the only thing that is important to me, although it is at the top of my passions, I also love school and look forward to learning and growing in my academics as well. I believe that good moral character is the most important attribute to have. I am an honest and hard working student and athlete with big goals and aspirations. I have been around the game since I was born because my dad played in the MLB for several seasons. My passion has been baseball since I can remember. I also enjoy history and business and I am willing to do what it takes to succeed and help others along the way. I am a team player and I love to compete in everything I do.
