Jayden Burns '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jayden Burns and I am a 5' 10, 150lb primary catcher, 3B, & outfielder.  I mainly play those positions, however, I am a utility player and can play anywhere on the field. I am very athletic and can track the ball well and have great hand-eye coordination which is needed to play baseball.

I am not only a good baseball player but I excel in the classroom as well. I am a homeschool student in the 10th grade. I will be continuing my high school years through homeschool. I am on a homeschool baseball team which will allow me to participate in junior varsity and varsity baseball. I have also been playing select baseball since I was in 10u.  I currently practice 10 hours a week between my two teams as well as countless hours on my own every day to better my skills.  I am a very competitive person who enjoys the game along with my teammates and always strive to have my best game every single game.

My goal for college is to become an athletic trainer or something to do with sports medicine. I do my best to talk my teammates up during games to keep us all in good spirits so we can stay positive. I have high energy throughout the game and strive to be a leader for all of my other teammates. I know that I would make a great asset for any baseball team and look forward to speaking with you about my continued baseball career.
