I have loved the sport of baseball ever since I could pick up a bat. I would beg my dad to throw a ball to me any chance we could get. I have been playing organized baseball for 10 years and have loved every minute of it. I have played every season, spring, summer, and fall, since I was five and have taken numerous private lessons to hone my skills. School is also very important to me and I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the baseball field. My goal is to finish in the top 10% of my class, taking all honor classes. After high school, I plan on earning an engineering degree and specializing in computer engineering. Over the years, I have volunteered for a food pantry and Miracle League Baseball. I enjoy helping my community, especially kids that love the same sport I do.
I am an extremely competitive athlete and hate to lose. Because of this, I absorb every word, both criticism and positive feedback from my coaches, and try to translate this back to the field. This has also helped me develop a very high baseball IQ. I look forward to helping a college baseball program succeed while furthering my education, in order to become an upstanding member of my community.
