Charles "Tre" Broussard '23 Recruiting Profile

Tre' "Savvy" Broussard is a 16 y/o Junior starter @ Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, TX (Alvin ISD) currently Tx High School Baseball has him one of the 50 players to watch from Region III a stellar sophomore campaign that earned him a unanimous 1st team all district honor as well as All State honorable mention. Last season he hitting Leadoff, playing Center, Right and Left field. He is primarily a Center Fielder. Throws Left, Bats Left (has trained to switch hit). He also plays 1st base on the infield and is quite proficient (his range makes him more valuable in the OF). He is also a LH pitcher with command of the following pitches (2 seam FB, 4 seam FB, Sinker, Curve Ball, Slider, Change Up). He throws from a mid-high 3/4 arm slot. He is a proficient hitter that has trained and is projected to bat leadoff but has also been valuable in the 2, 3, and 5 slots. He is currently 6'0", 150lbs. He has put on approximately 23lbs and 7" in the off season. He has been playing baseball since the age of 2 and competitive travel ball since the age of 7. From age 7 to 13 he has had two USSSA Elite World Series appearances, his team placing 3rd and 5th and has won USSSA World Series Championships in Lake Charles, LA and San Diego, CA. His team also won a Travelball Select World Series Championship in Atlanta, GA.
