Roger Hunter Vincent '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter Vincent.  My goal for my baseball career is to play competitively as long as I possibly can, both on a collegiate and professional level. I have been playing baseball since I was 3 and always had a sense of passion, joy, and talent for the sport. God has gifted me this talent, and I desire to use it all through my life.  Baseball has always been there for me.  It lets me forget about all the other things happening outside of baseball and focus on having fun and getting the next out.  

I work very hard to succeed and thrive to do my best on and off the field. When I don't exceed my expectations, it becomes a big priority for me to find the way to success. I find it important to not look down on myself /have poor body language; instead, I try my best to fix it and forget about it and focus on where I need to be for the next play.  I find it critical to continue to learn skills and take great care of my body.

I try hard to be a good teammate and player.  It is important to me to show great respect to my coaches, teammates, and others around me at all times.  I strive to build each other up and act as an active leader on the team.

I work hard to make good grades and enlist in more challenging classes. I also participate in other after-school activities outside of baseball, such as; Boy Scouts, Church, Kids Prosper Kids and often help around the community.  I'm a man of God and try to attend church regularly.

 I love to be outdoors too. I enjoy hunting and fishing and spending time camping with friends and family.    I look forward to becoming a better athlete and an overall man. I take great pride and responsibility in what I control and always strive to do my best on and off the field.
