Joshua Logston '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Josh Logston, im a RHP, and I play 2B when im not pitching. I'm currently playing for a fall league here in my town, I play every game and i'm improving every single day. I can play any position a coach asks me to, its all about what the team needs. I played 2nd base and shortstop my Freshman year, Also a little bit my sophomore year. I also played left field and center field for a while. Ive got a very good curl hop and Im always trying to increase my arm speed. Pitching wise, I have very good command with all my pitches and can throw them all for strikes when I need to. I throw a 2-seam and 4-seam fastball, a cutter/slider, a Changeup, and a curveball. My pitches have very good movement on all of them, nothing is flat. I try to focus also on my mechanics so i can throw as many strikes as possible. I led my highschool team in ERA this year and was rewarded pitcher of the year. One of my dreams is to play college baseball, and maybe even after college to continue playing. Im a fast learner and can adjust very easily. I'll do anything a coach needs me to do and have a good attitude about it. I make straight A's and focus on school also, been on the honor roll every year, and im part of the NTHS. Grades have never been a problem with me. I wanted to play college ball my whole life, and I promise you wont regret it. I give 110% out on the field and as well in practice, im always trying to get better, im planning to play summer league and go to a few showcases this summer, but also keeping in shape and working out. I long toss almost everyday and my arm is very healthy. I'd really like to achieve as much as I can.
