Personal Statement
From the first time I stepped on the field, I loved the game of baseball. Baseball has taught me teamwork, how to handle failure and bounce back quickly, dedication to a craft, and my love of competition. All of which are lessons I take to my personal and academic life.
I know what it takes to compete. Success just does not just happen, but it is achieved through listening, learning, understanding, and working harder than the competition on and off the field. This means being open to change and understanding your teammates.
I am committed to pursuing a college education as a student-athlete with education focusing on physical therapy/kinesiology or Engineering. I am honest that both of the fields excite me and trying to narrow that decision down right now seems premature. I'm looking for a solid baseball program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.
