My name is Madeline Mueller. I was born in China and was adopted by my parents when I was one. Even though I do not remember anything or know anything about my biological family, I only see being adopted as a blessing. I am able to do so many things now that I would not have been able to do had I not been adopted. In school, getting good grades is something that I take pride in and I strive to maintain all A’s and a GPA of 4.0 or higher. I was given the opportunity to play basketball in Kindergarten and have loved the game ever since. I have also participated in other sports including soccer, cross country, softball, track and field, and swim, but I was always drawn to the sport of basketball. Basketball has taught me that nothing that is worthwhile is easy. In order to be successful in life, you have to step out of your comfort zone and push yourself to be great. I want to be the best player that I can be and am willing to do whatever it takes to not only benefit myself, but the team.
