October 2020Baseball has always been my refuge. A place where I am centered. I have struggled a lot throughout my high school experience. I have been to four different high schools during four years. I have grown up playing baseball ever since I was a little kid. The one thing that didn't change when I switched schools was baseball. Baseball has always been a place where I can go to take my mind off things, baseball has always been there. Ever since 12u club baseball I always wanted to play in college. When I went into high school, I was diagnosed with depression, and anxiety, and started focusing on unhealthy things that were not helping me. Throughout this I was still playing baseball. The field was the one place where I could take my mind off things, and just work. I haven't always had good grades. I struggled a lot with school due to my ADHD. My senior year of high school, I have found a new way to learn, and have had the best grades I have ever had, averaging a 3.44 GPA across junior and senior years, strong momentum. I am a right hand pitcher , who has played baseball since I was a little kid. I would like to play in college, and am determined to get to that level.
