Brennon Lund '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Brennon Lund, I played baseball for the 2013 -5A State Champions - Bingham High School in South Jordan. I am, 5' 10" - 185 lbs. Senior and ran a 6.38 - 60 recorded at Area Code tryouts in Henderson, NV. I pitch right and hit left. I throw between 88 and 90 mph, and my throwing velocity from the outfield is 93 mph recorded at PG National Showcase in Minnesota. Both my parents played college sports, my dad played D1 baseball and my mom played NAIA volleyball.

Spring of 2013, Winners of the 5A State Championship. I was selected on Utah's All-Star Team for the second year. Our Bingham High school team played in the 2013 National High School Invitational in Cary N.C. on March 27-30 and Bingham went 2-1-1 beating Cathedral Catholic, TC Roberson and tying Milton Georgia after 13 innings. I was selected on the NHSI All Tournament Team. I was selected on the Rawlings 3rd Team All-American and West - All Region 1st Team.

Winter of 2012, I made the Louisville Sluggers pre-season H. S. All American Baseball Team.

Fall of 2012, I played in the Perfect Game WWBA World Championship for the Midland Redskins/KC Royals in Jupiter Florida on October 25th-29th. Played fall baseball in the BYU/SLCC fall instructional league and also the MountainWest Baseball Academy's Fall instructional league.

Summer of 2012, I played in the Area Code Games with the Cincinnati Reds Team on August 5th. I attended the 2012 Senior Northwest Championship Tournament in Centralia, Washington and was selected on the Northwest Championship All-Tournament Team. Played with the Mountainwest Baseball Academy and with a travel club the Utah Marshalls. The Marshalls played in the Connie Mack Qualifier in Tempe, AZ., the Las Vegas Classic and the Phil Singer Summer Series in San Diego, CA. Full schedule is here: www.utahmarshalls.com/schedule. Spring 2012, Our Bingham Miners Team won the Region 5A title. I was selected on the varsity 5A 1st Team All Region as a Junior (BA-.530, SLG%-.670, OB%-591, QAB%-.623, with only 4K's in 100 AB's). Pitching 27-2/3 innings Varsity, 12-2/3 innings JV. 6 wins, 1 loss (2.78 ERA, 36 K's). I was selected on the varsity 5A All-Tournament Team with 10 other players. I was also selected as the MVP for the 2012 Underclassmen All-Star Game. I was selected by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association to the Region 7 Rocky Mountain Team consisting of players from NV, UT, AZ, and CO.

In April 2012, our Bingham Miners team swept and won the 20th Annual USA Classic Tournament in Memphis and I was selected on the All Tournament Team. I had a good run on the state record with 15 consecutive hits through 5 games (3rd now in the record books).

I have been to many tournaments, the Northwestern Championships in Washington, JR Fall Classic AZ, and Desert Fall Classic, NV. In the summer of 2011, I was selected and played on the Stars baseball team for the National Team Identification Series in Cary, NC.

I love the game of baseball!!! I work hard, I strive to improve every day. I am a leader on and off the field. My dream is to play college baseball.
