Personal Statement
Winning the state championship my freshman year was amazing, but then coming back and winning it again my sophomore year felt even better. This win solidified my belief in doing whatever it takes to help the team win, even if it means I make the assist instead of taking the shot. I love making the shot, but I really love making the pass on a dime to help my teammate score. During my sophomore year I grew as a player because I was a contributing member of the team and a part of the championship run.
I have never liked losing. My favorite thing is to defensively disrupt the play before it happens. I take pride in steals and deflections. I have long arms and good timing, and I have worked on ball handling since I was 10 years old. I was one of the shortest players in the team when I was young, but now I am 6’0” tall and know how to handle the ball. I know how to win and believe in myself. I am ready to compete and thrive at the college level. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the determination and attitude to make an immediate impact on your team.
