What makes me a good candidate for your team?

• I have been brought up in a family environment that has always put God 1st and family 2nd - I take pride in my country as well as my work whether it's academics, charity of baseball.  I understand that my family has made sacrifices for me to get where I am today and my parents have instilled in me the value's that will make me successful.  I never take that for granted.  I do everything full speed, process 1st and hustle.  I remind myself to be kind, courteous and humble to those around me and more importantly, to those who are less fortunate.  I'm very aware that baseball is a game of failure but understand that it is a team sport and a sport that I truly love and wish to continue to play at the college level if given the chance and opportunity - I know I can make a difference on your team.  I am not arrogant but confident!

What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?

• I was brought up to always respect my teachers, instructors/coaches and teammates around me.  My parents have instilled in me a strong work ethic that carry's over into my academics and athletics.  I understand that if you want to be great at anything you have to put the effort and work into it in order to reap the benefits.  Some have to work harder than others and the heart, passion and drive that I have, I know will allow me to assist you in your teams goals and objectives.  I am a student of the game of baseball and a sponge when it comes to learning.  It would be an honor to be a part of your program if given the chance and opportunity.
• I strongly feel that the number 1 priority of a coach is to coach and not have to worry about a players academics or personal/social life.  I also feel that if given the chance and opportunity to come to your school and play, my focus would primarily be on academics and baseball - 1st and 2nd in that order.  I strongly believe that I would be a very, very good fit to your organization because of my work ethic, character and passion for the sport as well as my future career's both on and off the field. 
• Life is about choices - the right choice puts us in the position to be successful - but no one is perfect.  Unfortunately some of the choices we make are not always good ones but if we can learn by those wrong choices, capitalize on those, learn by them and make sure not to make them again, it makes us a better person/player of the game of life!
