Kaan Roberts '28 Recruiting Profile

My first name is Anthony, buy I have answered to Kaan, my middle name, my entire life.  

I am 15 years old, and Baseball is my passion.  I started playing soccer at 3 and continued until I was 9, when I chose to try lacrosse.  Both games were fun, but the following year, at 10 years-old, a very close school friend asked me to join his baseball team.  I joined and I had fun.  I quickly made the all star team then the travel team.  After the travel team returned from Cooperstown I continued to play Travel ball the following year, but during a double header I caught the first game and a half, then pitched as a closer, resulting in a break in my throwing shoulder - Little League Shoulder.  I didn't really feel completely ready to play competitively for nearly a year and half.  I am working out with weights this summer (2025) five days a week with the football team, and have pitching, catching, and hitting coaches, a total of three hours a week.  I also go to the batting cages nearly every day.  My goal is to make the Varsity Baseball Team next year (my sophomore year), as well as make the local showcase team playing at the 16U level.  

At the Collegiate level I would love to play baseball at any level, but at this point I intend to attend medical school after graduation.
