July 2019
July 2019 Hitting my first high school out-of-the-park home run in my junior year has been the highlight of my baseball career to date. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete during the first game of Virginia Region 4a playoffs during my junior year. Our team was seeded higher than our opponent, but we ended up losing as a result of taking the opponent for granted. This experience helped me to re-evaluate my personal goals and focus them towards becoming a better teammate and leader capable of playing and competing at the college level.
I began playing baseball at the age of five due to my family’s age old love for the game. I am a very competitive student-athlete who will lay it all on the line to compete for my teammates. Unfortunately, my team has not been a major contender for a state title during my years in high school, but the tough losses have taught me to value traits such as commitment, work-ethic, and leadership. I am looking for a collegiate program that is not only a good fit for me athletically, but academically as well. I have maintained strictly A’s in every class since I began my schooling career. My characteristics of commitment and leadership also carry over to the classroom and are largely credited for my academic success. Any program who is willing to give me an opportunity will not be disappointed as I know I have what it takes to lead a team towards success!
