Reece Colbert '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 5 tool player with a coachable attitude and a burning desire to improve. I have been twice named 1st Team All Nisqually League for my play at Shortstop and was nominated for the Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year for 2024. I was selected as the state of Washington's Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Athlete of the Week. I am a two time Team Captain of my high school baseball team and 3 time Team Captain of my travel team. I have a 4.0 GPA and am a member of the National Honor Society. Beyond the statistics and accolades, I believe my work ethic, attitude, and leadership set me apart. In the batter’s box, on the mound or cheering on my teammates, I believe in giving my best effort at all times. I strive to be the player that others can rely on when the game is on the line. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about being vocal; it’s about setting an example through your actions and encouraging your teammates to be their best. Beyond playing baseball, I umpire with my former little league, volunteer with my church and the Tim Tebow Foundation. I have the goal to play baseball at the college level or even beyond, and I will do whatever I need to do so I can grow in the game and improve.
