I remember being 9 years old and deciding that one day I will play college football and earn my degree. Ever since then I have given it my absolute best effort in my school work every year, and whatever football/baseball team I have been on since flag, to pop-warner and now high-school. With 9 older siblings life has been difficult at times for me. Unlike some I have felt hunger and experienced despair. But through it all my family has remained loving, happy and most importantly, united. This I feel has made me much more motivated than any other athlete. Each day I am the first student to arrive at school and the last football player to leave. I arrive to school at 6:30a and go into the study lounge. I use this time to study and go over my homework from the night before. I have been very fortunate to qualify to be coached and taught by what I feel is the best high school coaching staff in America. I am also honored to be a teammate of some of the top high school football players in the country. Everyday I learn something new about many different defenses, defensive coverage's, offensive strategy, and strength and fitness. After school (and sometimes in the morning) I attend Quarterback meetings, train very hard in the weight-room and have field practices. My parents have made many sacrifices throughout my life to place me in the best position to grow in my academics and sports. Whenever I am given the opportunity to go further, I will give ALL of my effort and dedication to being successful. I believe I am the best candidate for which ever University that shows interest because of my extreme dedication and work effort with my academics, and athletics. My goal to play college football, get a college degree, and the level of work I've put in over the years to reach that goal combined with my character, makes me different from most athletes. With extreme effort, I would prove to be a very valuable asset to any University.
