Ryan Parker '26 Recruiting Profile

Baseball is my PASSION! I strive each day to learn something new, strengthen my skills and become a better player.

I have just completed my junior year of High School where I was a starter for the varsity baseball team, as well as an Individual State Qualifier for the WVSSAC Golf Tournament. I have maintained a GPA of 3.6 or higher and made the Honor Roll for all 3 years in high school. I have also had a part time job for over a year.

I am honored to have been selected to the 2025 WVSSAC 1st team All State, and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference All Conference 2nd team. I have received several similar honors in 2023 and 2024.

Playing baseball at a level beyond High School has been my goal since little league. I originally playing as a catcher in 10u, when my coaches put me behind the plate as no one else wanted to...I was the only kid who was not afraid of the pitcher - he threw fast and hard. I soon found that I have a love for being in on every play and helping the team be successful. As I have grown and progressed, I have become the definition of utility player - I can play the corners, catch behind the plate, pitch in relief, play 2nd base and the outfield, if necessary. This high school season my primary position was SS and on my summer team I am primarily playing 3B and catcher. I am happy playing the infield, but my first love has always been catching...

I will soon be a Senior in High school and am already looking forward to next season. In the off season, I will continue to work hard to achieve my goals and realize my dreams of playing baseball in college!
